The Challenge
The client had developed over many years into a best-in-class healthcare system supporting a MNC’s employees in the Eastern Province for their healthcare needs.
Opportunity existed to enhance the existing system to enhance the delivery of the trifecta impact of improved health outcomes, enhanced patient experience & cost efficiency.
There was board-level recognition of the opportunity to drive a better value for money for the MNC funding of this unique health system.
Our Approach
Developed a board education and engagement plan to gain support & funding for the transformation
Drive cross-departmental engagement to design a client specific ACO model & gained BOD sign off
Implemented organization-wide change management programme & launch re-brand to “Care+”
Combined traditional multi-year programme management to drive six enabler workstreams and aligned this an agile approach to deliver quick wins for 6 patient archetypes

First Private ACO in the Kingdom launched

The target model impacts were focused on materially deflecting historical medical trend of ~10% for a total spend of >$1Bn
